What if I am unhappy with my order? Do you accept returns?
Yes, please contact us to arrange for a return. Returns must be made within 30 days and returned merchandise must be in new, unwashed condition in order to receive a refund. We cannot refund shipping fees. If we make a mistake (send you the wrong size or color, or there is a problem with your print, etc), we will send you a replacement free of charge.

Questions About Ordering, Payment and Order Status

How can I check my order status?
If your order is going some place within the US, you will receive a delivery confirmation tracking number when your order is shipped. If you do not receive an email with delivery confirmation tracking number for a US order within 7 business days please contact us.

International shipping service does not include a tracking number, however delivery times are typically 7-14 business days after your order has shipped.

IMPORTANT TO NOTE: It can take us an average of 3-7 business days to get an order in the mail. We try to get your order to you as quickly as possible, but sometimes high order volume can slow things down a little. Please keep in mind that your shirt will be printed to order just for you and we're a small, indie, t-shirt shop so as much as we'd like to ship your item the minute you order it, we just can't do that.

What payments do you accept?
We accept all major credit cards.

Do I have to pay sales tax?
Only if your order is being mailed to a California or Maryland address.

Questions About Shipping

How are your items shipped?
US orders are shipped via domestic priority mail. Canadian orders are shipped via USPS to Canada First Class Shipping. We ship via International First Class Shipping for orders outside the US and Canada.

How much does shipping cost?
Shipping cost is calculated based on shipping method and type and quantity of items you order. You will see the shipping and handling charges in the cart at checkout.

Do you ship to APO addresses?
Yes we do.

Do you ship internationally?
Yes! Shipping to Canada and other countries is available. Please note that if you request shipping to Canada and other countries outside the U.S., you may be subject to import duties and taxes, which are levied once the package reaches your country. Additional charges for customs clearance are the responsibility of the recipient. Customs policies vary widely from country to country; please contact your local customs office for further information. Additionally, when ordering from Ex-Boyfriend, you are considered the importer of record and must comply with all laws and regulations of the country in which you are receiving the goods.

Customs forms for all international packages list the value of your order's contents.

Returns & Exchanges

What is your return policy?
You may return a product for refund, store credit, or exchange (if due to ThinkGeek error) within 30 days of the order shipment date. (The order shipment date and order notification are provided to you by email). All returns must be accompanied with a Return Merchandise Authorization number (RMA #).

 

If we shipped you the wrong product, or it arrived defective or damaged?
No problem. Click the "Return" link on the Order Management page to arrange for the return of the item. Just contact us within 30 days of the item's original shipping date to arrange for the return of your purchase. Please use the "Return" link on the Order Management page to receive a RMA number for your return. We will send a replacement or refund you for your purchase, provided the returned item(s) are received back in their original packaging, along with all accessories, warranty cards, manuals, software, etc., where applicable.

If you ordered the wrong item, wrong size, or simply changed your mind,
we will refund you for your purchase (minus the shipping cost), provided the returned item(s) are received back in their original packaging, along with all accessories, warranty cards, manuals, software, etc., where applicable, provided your purchase is in "as-new" condition, and the purchased product was not noted as a clearance, close-out or non-returnable item. When your return is received, you will be issued a refund to your credit card or an email gift certificate (store credit) for the merchandise only. (Please note that you will be responsible for return shipping costs of non-defective merchandise if you use one of our pre-printed return shipping labels.) Some products may also be assessed a 15% restocking fee - please ask if you are unsure. Also, please note that opened software and video games cannot be returned for refund or store credit. Additional restrictions may apply, please contact us for more information.

After you get your RMA number, you will have the opportunity to have a return shipping label generated for you. If you choose not to use a label provided by us, please use the instructions given to you when you receive your RMA to package your return. Ship your package back to us at the following address:

Exchanges

Can I just exchange my items for new ones?
At this time, we do not process even exchanges. If you need a different size or color of an item you ordered, when your return is received, you will be issued a gift certificate (store credit) for the amount of the item.
